Rev. Marek P. Zabriskie
Founder and Director
The Rev. Marek P. Zabriskie has served as Rector of St. Thomas’ Church since 1995. Prior to being called to St. Thomas’ Church, Marek served as the Associate Rector of St. James’s Church in Richmond, Virginia and as the Assistant to the Rector at St. George’s Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Marek studied philosophy and graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia before attending seminary at the Yale Divinity School in New Haven, Connecticut. Between college and seminary, Marek studied French in Paris, France and worked for three years as a journalist in Atlanta and Nashville. He introduced the Bible Challenge at St. Thomas’ this past year and after an incredible response from those within and outside the parish, now has taken it global.
